Hi there! Thanks for stopping by to get to know me better. I was born and raised in Liberty, South Carolina and I am a Clemson Tiger fan to the core. My husband and I now call Nashville, North Carolina our home and we absolutely love it here.

I enjoy a good corny joke. Others laugh with me because I tend to be the only one laughing at the actual joke. Ha! Aside from my dry sense of humor, my desire is to speak Jesus into every heart, and mind that’s willing to listen.

Because I have struggled trusting man, I struggled trusting God. I have learned that I am not alone and to know me is to know about my trustworthy Father. I have a passion for God’s word and for you to cultivate your love for Him.

One of my favorite pastimes is spending time with women and sharing life over a cup of coffee. In fact, I hope my blog and podcast allow me to do that with you.

This forum is a little intimidating because most of my writings and podcast episodes are an unfiltered stream of consciousness, but I have found that God is faithful in using weakness to glorify Himself. I am sold out to Him knowing that I can take Him at His Word.

About the Family

My husband, Chris, is an incredible man of God who encourages me to be me and loves me just as I am. We were high school sweethearts (though rival high schools) and we have been married for over 35 years. Chris writes a bit also HERE.

We have two incredible sons, so of course, I need to brag about them for a moment. My oldest is now 30, a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, a Captain in the Army and is married to an amazing woman. They have made us first-time Grandparents! My youngest son is 24, a graduate of the University of West Florida with a degree focused on Cyber Security. God has blessed him with a fruitful career I cannot talk much about. Ha! He is married to his high school sweetheart, Mikaela, who is a perfect fit for our tribe. I love being a boy mom and these two women God brought into our family as a bonus causes my heart to swell with love and gratitude.

Here are some fun photos of my family and a few friends.
