TRUST

“The person who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence indeed is the LORD, is blessed.” Jeremiah 17:7 (CSB)

Every woman eventually encounters unwelcome disappointments and broken promises. Left unattended, these wounds can harden the heart and make trust feel distant and fragile. Through biblical insight and personal testimony, Jodi explores how Christ patiently rebuilds the foundation of our faith, restoring what disappointment once fractured. As women learn to take God at His Word, they discover that trusting Him is not a single moment but a lifelong journey—one that leads to healing, wholeness, and ultimately a heart fully yielded to a trustworthy God.

TRUSTING GOD IN THE JOURNEY AND FOR THE OUTCOME

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9b (NLT)

Many of us stand at the water’s edge, contemplating… do I obey God’s call to move forward? Or, do I run back to my Egypt? In this talk, Jodi will take women on a journey to leave their past behind and cross their Jordan. Women will leave remembering that each stone from the deepwater is where freedom in Christ is found. By this, the life God intends for each of us is found.

HEART MATTERS: WHEN GOD LOOKS DEEPER

“For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 (ESV)

Many of us quietly wrestle with what God sees when He looks at the heart. Drawing from 1 Samuel 16:7, Jodi guides women through an honest and hopeful exploration of the inner life God cares most about. With biblical teaching, personal transparency, and practical encouragement, she helps women understand that God already knows their hearts, calls them to repentance that restores intimacy with Him, and invites them to live out His Word in everyday life. Women leave encouraged that when they allow God to do His heart work within them, deeper trust, renewed freedom, and lasting spiritual growth are possible.

MADE FOR MORE: SWEET INTIMACY WITH CHRIST

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” Matthew 5:8 (CSB)

Many women carry the weight of past wounds, regrets, and misplaced identities, quietly wondering if true freedom and intimacy with God are really possible. Drawing from Matthew 5 and Ephesians 4, Jodi invites women to lay aside the “grave clothes” of their old life and step into the renewed identity Christ has given them. Through honest storytelling and biblical truth, women are encouraged to leave the past behind, renew their minds with God’s truth, and walk confidently in the life they were created to live. Women leave reminded that they were made for more—more freedom, more purpose, and deeper intimacy with Jesus.

ROOTED

Colossians 2-3

Women often long for deeper faith but can feel spiritually unstable when life’s pressures and competing voices pull them away from Christ. In this two-session retreat from Colossians, Jodi helps women discover what it means to be firmly rooted in Christ—declaring their identity in Him, clothing themselves in His character, and dwelling in His peace within a supportive community of believers. Women leave encouraged and equipped to stand firm in their faith and grow in deeper intimacy with God.

ENHANCING YOUR MARRIAGE

“Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life.

She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.” Proverbs 31:11-12 (NLT)

Regardless of what condition your marriage is in, Jodi will share some helpful insights and practical ways to enhance what you vowed to God on your wedding day. Jodi and her husband have navigated over 30 years of marriage with lots of bumps and bruises. But, with God’s intervention, they have gotten better—all while still learning to love one another through the good, bad, and ugly times. Note: This talk is excellent for a breakout session on marriage.

Chris and Jodi speak at marriage conferences, and one of their favorite themes to share is:

“Marriage Enrichment Retreat”

“Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, while our vineyards are in blossom.”

Song of Solomon 2:15 (NASB)

Grandma said, “A stitch in time saves nine.” Another person said, “An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.” Marriage is something that many people take for granted…until they no longer can. Often, by the time a couple asks for help with their marriage, it is in a full-blown crisis. What if there was a better way? In this transparent, informative, and encouraging talk, Chris and Jodi help couples identify potential danger points in marriage before they flare-up. Based on the biblical instructions in the Song of Solomon, and well-illustrated by stories from more than thirty years of marriage, Chris and Jodi encourage other couples to guard against the dangers of “little foxes” by pruning, nurturing, and guarding “the vine” of marriage.
