Raised in a small town in South Carolina and the youngest of five siblings, Jodi’s journey to faith began after growing up in a non-Christian religion. Her story of discovering the truth of God’s Word now fuels her passion to help women build a deep, confident trust in Him.
Jodi and her husband Chris have been married for 37 years. Along the way, she has embraced many roles—including military spouse, police officer’s wife, and pastor’s wife. Together they have served in ministry for over two decades and currently live in Purlear, North Carolina, where they serve with Operation Heal Our Patriots through Samaritan’s Purse. Jodi and Chris also speak together at marriage conferences, sharing biblical wisdom and real-life experience to encourage couples in their relationships.
Jodi is also the proud mom of two adult sons, blessed with two “daughter-in-loves,” and the joyful “JoJo” to four grandchildren—with one more on the way.
When she’s not writing, teaching, or speaking, Jodi loves spending time in God’s Word, walking with the Lord, and sharing life with women over a cup of coffee.
