In today’s episode, Jodi shares her heavy heart of saying good-bye. The emotions of seeing loved ones’ leave can be all over the map. Often, we try to suppress them by being busy, but God wants us to bring them to Him. He can sort them out and help us work through them. It’s in His presence that we can face anything and turn sorrow into thanksgiving. Listen to how Philippians 4:4-7 is Jodi’s go-to passage for comfort and how God uses a penny to usher her into His presence.

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

What verse or passage do you cling to for comfort, strength, and hope? I would love for you to share that with me.

Philippians 4:4-7, 13

Jodi, thanks for your message! Philippians 4:13 was the first verse I memorized as a new believer. In my life God uses butterflies to remind me of His awesome presence! Be blessed, my sister!
